Ethics of Artificial Intelligence Earn a badge Qualify for a micro-credential

Join the Office of Professional and Workforce Development for a virtual information session on the Ethics of AI courses and the AI Micro-Credential offered by the University of Florida.

The information session will give you a chance to learn more about the upcoming 15-hour hybrid “Ethics of AI” course, launching on August 15. Participants of this webinar will learn how the 15-hour “Ethics of AI” course can lead to an AI Micro-Credential. Event Speakers:

Elizabeth Palmer, PhD – Instructor

Dr. Palmer received her doctorate in philosophy with a minor in linguistics from Indiana University in 2013. A specialist in epistemology, she has regularly taught the course “Ethics and Innovation” for students in the University of Florida’s Innovation Academy.

Regina Rodriguez, PhD – Provost Fellow for Professional Education

Dr. Rodriguez leads UF’s AI initiative for professional development within the UF Teaching and Technology Office. In her role, she coordinates with college deans and faculty to develop, deliver and promote AI micro-credentials across various fields of application.
