Careers In Public Service: Rick Mullaney

Join us for the final session this spring about preparing for your career in public service with Professor Rick Mullaney, Director of the Public Policy Institute at Jacksonville University.

This discussion will give students the chance to connect with Gator grads who are now professionals in domestic and international public service. Students will increase their exposure to internship, fellowship, and post-graduation job opportunities and have the chance to ask questions and exchange ideas.

Rick Mullaney received his bachelor’s in political science at the University of Florida (1973-1977), graduating Phi Beta Kappa and first in the College of Arts and Sciences. He afterward attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law (1977-1980). Mullaney is the founding director of the Jacksonville University Public Policy Institute. As well as a political analyst for WJXT Channel 4 and WOKV, 104.5 FM in Jacksonville, and host of a radio program, Policy Matters, on WJCT 89.9 FM.
