Pronunciation is often the most salient feature in the speech of a foreigner, yet explicit pronunciation instruction remains one of the most neglected aspects of classroom pedagogy. Knowing the problem areas and how to address them with students can have a significant impact on their awareness of and ability to improve their accents. This presentation explores various tips, tricks and technology tools that can and have been used, focusing on theoretical and pedagogical justifications.
