John Due Celebration

The Samuel Proctor Oral History Program will be hosting a reception/celebration event honoring civil rights attorney John Due at Pugh Hall on Wednesday, April 29 at 5 pm.

UF is awarding Due an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters at Commencement. Due will be honored for his exceptional work on behalf of human rights and civil rights broadly, as well as the outstanding role he has
played as a mentor to countless University of Florida students. Due was was inducted into the Florida Civil Rights Hall of Fame in 2018.

We hope you can join us in celebrating John Due’s decades of remarkable service and impact!
