In addition, CLAS offers courses in more than two dozen languages other than English, opening doors to intercultural understanding, global engagement, and professional opportunities. As a result, our graduates thrive in business, industry, government, and education, and they are exceptionally well prepared for graduate and professional study.

Beyond the academic depth of our majors, CLAS students are encouraged to enrich their education through research, fieldwork, study abroad, and other experiential learning opportunities. Our Beyond120 program connects students with meaningful, hands-on experiences that help them articulate the value of their degree, link their studies to future goals, and prepare for life after graduation.
