Faculty Research

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Florida is the largest college on campus, with more than 700 faculty members responsible for teaching the majority of the university’s core curriculum to at least 32,000 students each year.

Our College encompasses three main areas of research: the natural and physical sciences, the humanities, and the social and behavioral sciences. Each of our departments and units features ongoing faculty research and offers opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students to conduct their own research and/or work closely with faculty researchers.
